Three Months of Solid Gains in Sarasota Real Estate - April 2008
Single family homes sales as reported from the Sarasota MLS have climbed from 329 in January to 423 in February, on to 514 in March. April 08 saw the median sale price rise to $285,000 from $266,750 in March, or a respective 7% increase. The April 08 report continued to reflect strength in pending sales, which stood at 765, a marked increase over the past two years. April 07 pending sales were reported at 609. Laurel Oak Homes Sales At A Glance
A marked improvement in home sales is surfacing in the Laurel Oak community. Of the 8 homes sold thus far in 2008 (13 sold in 2007), the average price per square foot in March 08 revealed an average of $275 per sq. ft. versus $250 psf in January 08, and $211 psf in September 07.

Additionally, the trend over the past 15 months indicates the average Laurel Oak home is selling for a respective 87% of the list price. View the Graphs
