Course Description: Golf Magazine has consistently awarded the Silver Medal to The Resort at Longboat Key recognizing its outstanding golf facilities. The Bill Mitchell-designed Islandside course borders the Gulf of Mexico offering water hazards on all 18 holes. The Harbourside course bordering Sarasota Bay features three, nine-hole courses with stands of live oak, sabal palms, palmetto and southern pine. Altogether, golfers get 45 holes of par 72, PGA championship golf which will delight and challenge players of every skill level.
